The Face Painting Fairie provides face painting workshops/training courses giving you the knowledge and techniques to apply creative face painting designs and the importance of using the correct products and procedures to improve your skills and keep your clients safe.
Anyone that has not had hygiene, health and safety training in face painting is required to do the Basic Face Painting Course first to maintain high standards of safety to the public.
It is also advisable to not purchase any products until you have completed the basic course, all products and equipment is provided for so all you require is your lunch.
Basic Face Painting Course
This course is ideal for first time painters interested in developing there skills and obtain the relevant skills required to paint members of the public and staff in children's settings such as a Nursery or School.
The course/workshop runs from 10.00am till 5.00pm on a Saturday where you will be given instruction in all the health and safety working practices in face painting, industry standard hygiene practices and customer care when working on children and adults. Public Liability Insurance and Risk Assessments are also covered as well as the correct products to use and where to source them from.
Brush techniques, sponge blending, drag blending, double dipping along with at least 5 face painting designs that will be clearly demonstrated and you can develop your skills by practicing with the face paints, brushes and on training heads or FAB Boards provided.
I will also introduce you to painting with onestrokes, techniques and how to create the perfect stencil.
Spaces are very limited and advise you to book early and a Certificate of Attendance is awarded when you complete the course at the end of the day which helps towards obtaining the necessary Public Liability Insurance that is required by all face painters and the price includes your own practice board to take home.
